LABVIEW ADVANTECH DRIVER

When I try to add the DLL as a required file, it won't let me move it into the "Always required" box. By mnaula on 3 October, - 1: Want to add to the discussion? I am using advantech for Labview driver. I don't like referencing the data directory because you need to have your application reference the data directory correctly on your development system and that messes up my file structure and that's a pain.

Also double check that you have permissions to access the DLL.

Sometimes, a developer that has used similar hardware and applications will see your question and be able to offer you some advice. There was a software memory leak in the manufacturer DLL. Are Advantech products and its labview drivers good to work with Labview 7?

You have to explicitly download the bit version of LabView so if you don't know what version you have you probably have the bit version. I've located the DLL in the system 32 folder of my dev machine and I've copied it to multiple different locations on the remote machine.

Could you add a snippet of your code? If I manually copy the DLL onto the remote machine it doesnt work. If it is your code, please provide it. Problem solved after a few weeks: Please log in and try again.
